Participation in the community is threefold in nature, corresponding with body, voice, and mind:
Meditation and Practice
By meditating and practicing together, we all take up our small part in continuing the Dzogchen tradition of Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche. Please check our online practice calendar for current and future events. You can also join our email list and receive a weekly schedule.
Of the four paths to realization, karma yoga is the process of achieving perfection in action. Karma yoga is often understood as a yoga of selfless (altruistic) service. —Wikipedia
There are no paid staff at Dondrubling. Everyone from facilitators, media, marketing folks and board members contribute on a volunteer basis.
We are always looking for bright, energetic folks who are committed to the furthering of Rinpoche’s transmission for future generations.
If you are interested in helping in this capacity, contact us at aha at dzogchencommunitywest.org, or 510-644-2260, and let us know your availability.
Financial Support – Become a “Friend of Dondrubling” ***
As a non-profit organization, the Dondrubling relies on it’s members for its financial sustenance. Each member’s contribution is an investment in further sustainability and growth for the center.
Dondrubling exists because of the generosity of our sangha. Members who pledge between $27 a month or more help the center pay rent and utilities, and help subsidize the authorized teachers who provide workshops and retreats, but any amount is most welcome.
