Breathing and Mindfulness:
Breathe As You Are, Be As You Are
Breathing well is vitally important to all of us—it is connected to and can shape your whole existence. But the breath often finds its own, unnatural rhythm without us even knowing it. Returning to free-flowing, complete breathing infuses the body with calm strength and invigorates the mind with the clarity of awareness.
Join seasoned yoga teacher and breath expert Fabio Andrico and learn to recover your natural way of breathing. This program explores
- Postural habits that constrict the breath
- How natural alignment and rhythm in your breathing helps you let go of unnecessary physical and psychological tension
- Passive and active breathing exercises
- Ways to maintain presence and awareness of breath during yoga and everyday movement
- Dance and sound to bring balance in body, breath, and mind.
Return home with tools that allow your breathing to become the foundation for your growth and well-being.
Yantra Yoga from a Chair
Yantra Yoga On A Chair is of enormous benefit both to those with physical limitations, as well as those who live busy but sedentary lifestyles.
Participants will coordinate breathing techniques with movements, while sitting in a chair, to gain flexibility and find a renewed sense of well-being in their daily lives.
Fabio Andrico and Laura Evangelisti have worked together and, with Chögyal Namkhai Norbu’s advice, found an easy and accessible solution that not only allows people to experience the various types of breathing, but maintains the correct sequence and rhythm, which is also crucial in the practice of Yantra.
